Finely Figured Burr-walnut Pedestal Desk of Small Size

Description

A finely figured burr-walnut Pedestal Desk of small size in good original condition with nine mahogany lined drawers, all with original turned wooden knobs, working locks and key. The top features rounded corners and an excellent (possibly replaced) burgundy gilt-tooled leather writing surface. Each pedestal is supported on its own solid plinth base.

Dated: c.1875
