Art Nouveau Signed Loys Potet Wall Piece

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900-1920 a large and heavy Art Nouveau spelter leaf with the top half of a naked woman in the centre and signed by Loys Potet. It is greeny/brown in colour with excellent details throughout.

Loys Potet was born in 1866 and became well known for his bronze sculptures and spelter designs.

The leaf measures just under 40 cm in length at the longest part, and the widest is 24cm.

It weighs 1.8kgs and is in good condition with the signature clearly visible, and it has a wall fitting at the back.
