Unusual Japanese Edo (mid 19thC) boxwood netsuke of a pillow (takamakura). Beautifully carved in the form of leaves with lovely detail. Natural himotoshi. Unsigned. Measures 5.5cm x 3.5cm x 2.5cm high.
Superb original condition and patina.
