A really lovely pair of late Victorian Opera / Theatre glasses professionally re-polished to gleam, making them as good as they would have looked over 100 years ago. They are quite adorable, smaller than most and beautifully formed.

This is a pair with a telescopic lorgnette handle. All is wrapped in wonderful Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell with it's iridescent qualities. The eye pieces are fully marked for "Stewart Dawson & Co. Ltd. / Regent Street W" Dating to c.1900.

Fully working with good optics in superb condition. Folded up they measure 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 2"; they come with a fabric pouch (modern),
