A Superb Set of 12 Victorian Silver Fiddle, Thread & Shell Teaspoons

A fine set of twelve Victorian silver teaspoons. These superb, practical examples are in the sought after fiddle, thread pattern and shell and are double struck (pattern to front and back). To the top fronts there are engraved script initials. Fiddle, thread and shell has widely been considered as the 'Rolls Royce' of the available flatware patterns and this set is in wonderful condition.

Flatware is rather scarce nowadays due to the great losses, caused by the unscrupulous melting of antique silver for scrap. Therefore a matching set of 12, from the Victorian era is a rare find. Dimensions below.
