Description

Large mid 19th.c. mahogany chest of drawers c.1870. Solid mahogany top over a slim top drawer with dividers and four larger drawers of graduated height. Beautifully figured flame mahogany veneers arranged in a dramatic symmetrical pattern across the drawer fronts, all retaining their original turned knobs. Flanked with long tapering columns with turned capitals. Shaped plinth, also in flame mahogany, and raised on the original turned bun feet. Mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
