A delightful, Norwegian, vintage silver and enamel butterfly brooch. The detail on the brooch is superb. The wings are beautiful, guilloche enamelled in colours of blue hues with black accents and white border, curved slightly so that they reflect the light and highlight the detail. The back of the brooch is marked ''Sterling 925 S Norway'' with the mark for the well known Norway jewellery designer Hroar Prydz, circa 1950. There is a good fastening clasp at the back that works well.
A perfect gift, made by a collectable designer and in fabulous condition.
