Delightful George V Silver Ribbon Photo Frame by Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1917

Description

This delightful 6" X 4" silver photo frame is dated Birmingham 1917 and bears the hallmarks of the reputed Henry Matthews. Of rectangular form, the slender frame surmounted by a cast silver bow or ribbon. The back and easel covered with the original green velvet.

H.M for Henry Matthews.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant

Date letter "s" for 1917.

Condition:

Very good.

Dimensions:

Height to the top of the ribbon: 17cm / 6.6 inches.

Height of frame only: 15cm / 6 inches.

Width: 10cm / 4 inches.
