This is a captivating original late 19th Century Victorian Antique Oil on Board Painting depicting a beautiful rural English Countryside setting with an ancient church building, rolling hills, period cottages, and a lone horseman who is seemingly leading another horse along the old dirt track road.
The work is signed in initials lower-left corner 'E.C.J'.
Mounted within the original gilt moulded Victorian frame and protected behind the original glass panel.
