Description

An impressive inlaid mantel clock by Henri Marc of Paris. A multi coloured mixture on a tortoishell background. An enamel dial with blue Roman numerals and ornate brass hands signed by maker 'Hry Marc a Paris'. A well cast gilt dial bezel surround with convex bevelled glass. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1860.
