Description

An Edwardian silver nurses belt buckle with clear hallmarks for Sheffield 1902 and makers mark for William Gallimore & Sons. The lion passant and makers mark appear on both sides of the buckle. The buckle is in perfect condition and is profusely decorated with a pierced and scrolling design within two shield frames with a further solid silver lattice and scrolling design at the sides.leading to the pointed edges of the buckle. Each buckle is stamped on the back with a series of S initials, presumably to mark them as a pair. Beautiful and in beautiful condition.
