19th Century Antique Settle

A charming 19th century antique elm lambing settle with a scumbled finish. The antique settle has a high panelled back rest, with a solid plank seat, raised on shaped sides. A particularly fascinating antique settle, with brilliant texture and colour throughout.

DIMENSIONS:

Height – 143cm / Width – 142.5cm / Depth – 48.5cm / Seat Height - 44cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the seat (pictured), also some fading to the arms (pictured). There are splits to the bottom of both side panels (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the back, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique settle remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a neat example.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
