The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement looks very much like a Revue piece.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated, it has general surface marks and some wear around the hinge where the watch has been sat in a pocket but overall good condition for a piece from the 1920s. The inside of the back cover has a previous owner’s initials. The front cover has a small central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition. The hour hand may be a later period replacement but it is of the correct design. Special half hunter hour hands so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes with double rolled gold albert, with each chain measuring 22cm long. There is also a handsome fob with purple stone.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
