Description

A set of 4 silver plated salt dishes with gilded interiors. Dating to c1850-1860 these salts bear no makers mark. Beautifully decorated with lion mask and paw feet and richly decorated rims. Also included are 4 clear glass liners, that are later additions.

The condition is good overall with very little external plate wear and no dents. The original gilding is good in two salts but worn in the other two. One salt has a slight lean.
