The campaign chest has an arrangement of two short drawers above two long drawers, each fitted with recessed brass handles and decorative brass inlay. The two part campaign chest separates at the mid section for ease of transport and movement. A particularly pleasing example with good colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top, front, and sides (pictured). The antique campaign chest remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers running well. The fitted interior remains in good condition with wear to the leather writing surface (pictured). There appears to have been carry handles to the sides of the chest, although these are no longer present. A good quality example.
