Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The large bottom drawer sits neatly in the base. The antique oak chest on stand can be separated into two parts at the bottom. An intriguing example of good proportions. Possibly adapted from a large chest on chest.

DIMENSIONS:
Height – 123.5cm / Width – 100.5cm / Depth – 56cm

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the front and sides (pictured). The antique oak chest on stand remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers all running well. Some good, honest repairs to the edges of the drawers (pictured). Some evidence of old historic woodworm - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Possibly adapted from a larger chest on chest.
