Large Georgian Mahogany Drop Flap Dining Table Circa 1760

Description

Fine quality large early George III solid cuban mahogany oval drop flap dining table raised on bold cabriole legs with scroll ears and pointed toes. All in fine original condition except repairs in rule joints at hinges. Made with superb dense timber. Great rich colour with fine waxed patina. Will seat 6 very comfortably, 8 at a pinch.

Size; 27.5" high, 542 x 48" open, 48" x 17.5" closed.
