Six Ladderback Dining Chairs C.1930

1920 - 1940
Description

Set of six good quality oak and rush seat ladderback dining chairs c.1930. Sturdy design in solid oak with unusually stout stiles. Three curved rungs to the back between rear stiles with attractive turned pommel tops. Original woven rush seats (height 18?) with slightly curved edges. Front and rear stiles both with turned bun feet and joined with thick turned stretchers to each side for strength. Presented as found in very good colour and condition.
