Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1860s.
A thin border of black enamel runs around the outside of the diamonds, leading to dramatic double spear shoulders which are also outlined in black enamel. A beautiful, rare and important ring.

Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – The two central diamonds are G to H. The outer diamonds are G to I.
Clarity – The two central diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The outer diamonds are VS2 to SI1.

Carat – The combined approximate weight of the central two diamonds is 1.15 carat, with an further approximate 0.91 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1865.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 18.8 x 14.8mm and sits 8mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Tested.
