Description

A small silver frame with deep fascia and decorated with simple scotia detail to back edge.
Assayed in Birmingham by Arthur & John Zimmerman in 1911.
With silk moire lining and a polished oak backing with easel stand, in good working order.
Condition is good with some small ripples commensurate with age.
Hallmarks:
Assay office: Birmingham.
Lion Passant.
Date letter ‘m’ for 1911
Makers mark: A & J Z. (Arthur & John Zimmerman.)
Frame size approx: 4 1/2 ins. by 3 3/8 ins. (11.7 cm. by 8.5cm.)
The visible aperture is 8 cm. by 5 cm.
