17th Century Antique Oak Coffer

A wonderful 17th century antique oak coffer, of small proportions. The antique oak coffer has a three panelled hinged lid (retaining its original hinges) that opens to reveal a neat interior, with a small single shelf to the right hand side. The coffer has a two panel front with decorative carved detail, raised on four stile feet. A particularly lovely example, with good patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches & fading to the top (pictured). Further marks and scratches to the front (pictured).There is evidence of minor historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak coffer remains structurally solid and intact. Overall, a beautiful example with plenty of authentic charm.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
