Antique Carved Oak Wainscot Chair

A late 17th century antique carved oak wainscot chair. The wainscot chair has a decorative panelled back rest with carved detail, shaped, open arms, and a hard oak plank seat. The wainscot chair is raised on four square legs with straight stretcher supports.

CONDITION REPORT:

In well worn antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the seat and backrest (pictured). The wainscot chair has various losses including to the backrest and to the legs (pictured). There have been various repairs and alterations over the years. The antique oak wainscot chair remains structurally sound with some slight movement in the joints. An attractive example with good authentic wear.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
