Vintage French Painted Demi-corbeille Kingsize Bed in Louis Xv Style

1920 - 1940
Description

A Vintage French demi-corbeille kingsize in Louis in Louis XV style, the off-white painted foliate and scroll carved frame with shaped headboard and curved footboard, upholstered in a soft pink floral damask fabric, the side rails with fabric upholstered tops and with matching bed cover and bolster cushion.

In good condition with original bed bolts, the bed spread is gathered down each side and the fabric overall is in good condition and pretty clean.

Will take a standard UK kingsize mattress (150cm wide x 200cm long, or taking the curved foot end into consideration 210cm long max).

These beds are difficult to find in king size.

Headboard 122cm high and the footboard 72cm high.

I can arrange to have this recovered by my upholsterer and supply fabric if requred.
