A very rare mirror in a stunning original condition.
This Lovely mirror features a moulded edge surrounding the glass which is gilt with Birdseye Maple veneer to all other surfaces. The frame stands on square pad to either side which houses its 2 original black porcelain bun feet. The mirror glass is in good condition and is the original, However, does have some pitting and many light scratches which are too small to show in the pictures. This mirror has obviously really been cherished and cared for as the condition is very nice, the original French polished finish is complemented by the idyllic lightly faded original colour with patina. We have sympathetically restored this mirror by just carefully waxing the original finish to preserve this item for many years to come and to give a lustrous shine to the polish.
The mirror has a material covering on the back and will come with 2 brass wall plate brackets, so can be fixed to a wall.
Please note: this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish. However, we feel that adds to the charm of the item so we have left it untouched and original.
