Description

Gents Longines wrist watch, 1966.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 280, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 13,255,121 dates it back to 1966.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is rose gold plated and the case back is stainless steel. There is a 1mm area of plate loss to the bezel and another behind the winding crown but otherwise the case is in good condition. The inside of the case back is signed Longines.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a Longines presentation box.
