Description

A fine quality Edwardian Period satinwood "surprise" cabinet. The square hinged top veneered in beautiful satinwood and banded in kingwood with ebony cockbeading. The interior also beautifully veneered and with ebony line inlaid detail and silver plated hinges. Having a rise and fall mechanism which automatically closes when the top is less than a 90 degree angle. Raised on square tapering supports with brass cup castors. English circa 1900-1910, in lovely original condition

Dimensions: 30" high x 25" wide x 23" deep
