Description

This ANTIQUE PAINTED METAL CREST, mounted on a circular oak board, is entitled H.M.S. ARGYLL - 28th Oct 1915, in gilt - the day she sank off the East Coast of Scotland.

Presumably the CREST was salvaged from the wreck and, as such, is an interesting piece of Naval History.

It appears to have the original paint work

Diameter of Board: 9.5 inches (24 cm)
