Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

Description

A beautiful and elegant pair of antique Swedish armchairs in solid satin birch. These were recently imported from Sweden & date from around the 1890-1910 period.

The quality is superb, the frames have a lovely shape, these are well sprung and very comfortable. The satin birch has a lovely colour and patina, with some minor age related wear seen here and there beneath the polish.

We have had these re-polished and re-upholstered in our cream cotton fabric, so they are in very good condition.

Depth – 28 inches , 71 cm

Height – 34 inches , 86 cm

Seat height – 16 inches , 41 cm
