A fine quality open bookcase dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870. Constructed in mahogany this is a useful antique with a lot of storage space for your favourite books.
 
The doors have crossband satinwood decorations.
 
There are small brass handles on each of the drawers which are mahogany-lined with fine dovetails. The drawer fronts are in satinwood. The shelves are adjustable for height so you can fit your chosen books easily.
 
This excellent quality item has been french-polished and has a rich and vibrant colour, ready to be placed into your home.
