Description

A smart and extremely well made pair of antique solid mahogany carver armchairs. These were made in England, they date from around the 1880-1900 period.

The quality is outstanding, these are an impressive size and are extremely well built. They have beautifully carved eagle head arms, sit on cabriole legs and have original sprung drop in seats. They are very generous in proportions and are very comfortable.

We have had the mahogany frames re-polished and the drop in seats have been re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for their age, with some minor age related wear and patina seen beneath the polish here and there.
