Bronze Sculpture of a Pheasant C.1930

Description

Art Deco era sculpture of a pheasant c.1930. Very well cast in bronze as a cock pheasant performing its distinctive lek or mating display, running with the wings held away from the body. Good detail and definition to the plumage. Stamped Bronze on one of the wings. Mounted on a thick polished black slate base. Excellent condition.
