Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A charming games table in a stunning original condition.

The solid Mahogany top is inlaid with Satinwood crossbandings, Boxwood and Ebony to the outside edges.
The top of this table slides over on an offset pivot to reveal a storage compartment before folding over to the green baize card table surface. The base of the table has a simple yet elegant design of a strung inlaid frieze on slender square tapering legs with fine inlaid stringings to the outside edges and double stretcher rails between for strength.

There is no movement or play in any of the joints as the table is being normally used, the top is flat with no bowing or twisting and smoothly turns and folds over. This table has a small overall form yet is quite versatile from having a fold-over top managing to accommodate 2 to 4 players/people and also be used as a small occasional table when folded.

This lovely table is in a fine original condition with its original lightly faded French polished finish which we have just enhanced by sympathetically restoring and waxing. We have also replaced the green Baize material to the card section.

Please note this item is in beautiful condition for its age as shown in the photographs below however being an antique item it does have the odd bump and dent here and there. However, we feel that these points are which adds charm and character to a piece.

Please note, items placed on or around this item are not included in sale, sale is for the table only.
