~~ Excellent condition ~~
A beautiful and rare miniature antique French clock set. It is very nicely made of gilt metal in the Rococo style. The clock is of asymmetric waisted form with elaborate 'C' scrolls, laurel leaves and floral swags. A delightful figure of a cherub holding a laurel wreath sits on top. Candelabra are formed as ewers held aloft on scrolled stands with cherubs standing to the side. The miniature dial is enamel on copper with tiny delicate floral swags painted between the numbers. It is complete with original fretted gilt brass hands and convex glass.
The French miniature movement has a cylinder escapement and is of high quality.

Condition of the case is good with clean and bright finish. There is wear to the gilding, especially on the high spots. The dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches.
A stunning and tiny clock set to add to your collection, complete with a suitable key.
