Description

A super and most unusual Victorian Sterling silver tea caddy in an urn shape with a super swirl pattern around the body and an attractive engraved trim on the shoulder.

The pull off lid when removed reveals a gilded interior to the cannister.

There is a good clear hallmark for Birmingham 1889 together with the maker's initials T.H for Thomas Hayes.

A wonderful grand size standing 6" tall and weighing in at 229.9 grams or 7.39 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.
