Antique Georgian Style Mahogany Bookcase

1920 - 1940
Description

A smart and useful antique Georgian style bookcase in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1930’s period.

The quality is fantastic, the mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and lovely grain patterns. The top has a beautifully shaped swan neck pediment, the top doors are astral glazed and the lower doors are nicely panelled. There are adjustable shelves in the top section, and an additional shelf in the lower cabinet.

There is lots of storage space above and below, this comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.

We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Depth – 16 inches , 41 cm

Height – 84 inches , 213 cm
