Description

A 19th century antique oak chest of drawers. The straight front antique oak chest of drawers has an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with brass swan neck handles and decorative back plates from the previous handles. Raised on bun feet.

Height – 115cm / Width – 95cm / Depth – 59cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In well-worn antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the surface top and drawer fronts (pictured). There are also signs of shrinkage to the sides (pictured). Some of the handles have been replaced and don’t all match. The antique oak chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, quite worn in places but still a good example of its kind with plenty of character.
