Description

Beautiful pair of solid silver golden oriental pheasants with detachable heads. Detachable heads were a way of avoiding duty on decorative items by allowing them to be functional. Made by the quality maker J.C. Hirsch in Berlin c1890 they are offered in excellent condition. Both are marked sterling with a makers mark that doesn’t photograph well.
