Superb Omega Seamaster solid 18ct gold gents wristwatch.

~~ Totally original throughout ~~

This is a very fine example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier swiss maker Omega.

This is the classic Seamaster model, and has one of the best movements ever produced by Omega during the golden age of swiss watchmaking.

The movement has 20 jewels, and as you can see is in excellent condition.

It has a solid 18ct gold case but what really makes this watch stand out is the rare two tone dial. It has its original Omega leather strap and comes with both its original inner and outer boxes.

As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement, case and and buckle.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.

The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown and it very heavy.

Overall this is a watch in beautiful condition and has that elegance which never dates.

The watch has just been fully overhauled and serviced by the highly respected Rolex and Omega authorised agent Robert Reeves MBHI. It has been fully authenticated and found to be a genuine Omega in all respects. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultasonic cleaning process.

The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof presure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.

The watch movement comes with a full 1 year warranty.

This serial number on the movement dates this watch to 1960 and would certainly make a fabulous gift for someone celebrating a 50th birthday this year.

If you would like further details, especially of the movement please contact Andrew and Lynn Wilson of Fowey River Antiques, Cornwall on 01726 813155, daytime and evenings, we are open 7 days a week! In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
