Antique Pine Trunk or Blanket Box

A well proportioned Victorian antique pine trunk or blanket box. The antique pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box to the left hand side. The antique pine trunk has decorative brass handles to either side (for decorative - not designed for lifting the trunk), and is raised on bracket feet. A particularly good size trunk that would be ideal for use as a coffee table and storage.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the surface top and sides (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound, however the handles to either side are for decorative purposes, they are not designed for lifting the trunk. Overall, a good example.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
