The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel plated, it has general surface marking commensurate with its age. The back of the watch has the military arrow, or pheon, together with the GSTP marking.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition. Originally there would have been luminous paint in the hands and on numbers 3, 6, 9 and 12 but this has been removed over the years, probably because of the radium content.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
