Late 20th Century 1.01 Carat Demantoid Garnet & Diamond Trilogy Ring

1940 - 1960
Description

A demantoid garnet ring of real class. It’s increasingly difficult to find demantoids of this size, and this stone is a fine example. The slighly olive-y green garnet is internally clean and virtually glowing from within. The stone is secured in a coronet collet and flanked on either side by a pair of high white and bright quarter carat (approx.) round brilliant cut diamonds. On a slim, D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a gemstone report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the garnet is the demantoid variety.

Cut – Cushion cut demantoid garnet and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G.

Clarity – The diamonds are SI1.

Carat – The demantoid garnet is 1.01 carat. The combined approximate diamond weight is 0.50 carat.

Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 15.25mm. The ring is 7mm at the widest point. 5.4mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white and yellow gold. Hallmarked.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
