Description

This is a very nice quality 19th century Italian bench. The penwork detail in the back is such a wonderfukl detail and a great contrast to the dark finish to the body of the piece. The details continue to the leg fronts which is a great touch. The feet are a stepped design which is very Italian and gives this piece a great presence. The whole design is extremely elegant and will sit well in a number of interiors. The seat has two lift up lids to reveal storage underneath. The profile on the bench is also extremely attractive. Overall this piece is stunning which is why it is one of my favourite pieces from my recent French buying trip.
