Description

A wonderful example of an antique heart shaped trinket or ring box, with wonderful repousse decoration including around the sides.

The slightly domed lid has a central cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired.

The hinged lid fits well. The box is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1901, together with the makers mark MJJ for Matthew John Jessop.

Superb condition, measuring 2 1/4" x 2" x 1 1/8" tall.
