Description

1930s Juvenia pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has the Juvenia crest, name and details of the movement in Swiss, compensated balance and chronometer grade.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case has a gun metal bezel and centre, and the hinged case back has a gun metal coloured finish and it is in good condition, as is the glass lens.

The dial is signed Juvenia, P A Collot, Lco Marques, the original retailer of the watch. Lourenço Marques was a port city and capital of Mozambique until 1976. The double sunk dial has a charming appearance with an inner red 24 hour dial, blued steel hands and a nicely aged finish.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
