Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The chest is raised on a plinth base with short pad feet. Good colour and patina throughout. A rather lovely example of a small Victorian mahogany chest.

Item Ref; M-3704
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 90cm / Width – 89cm / Depth – 47cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top and drawer fronts (pictured). There are some minor chips to the veneer near the base and a repair to the backplates of the knobs. The Victorian mahogany chest remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers running well. A good solid example with attractive colour and patina throughout. Particularly pleasing.
