Small Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A neatly proportioned Victorian mahogany chest of drawers. The straight front mahogany chest has an arrangement of two short drawers over two long drawers, each with polished wooden knobs. The chest is raised on a plinth base with short pad feet. Good colour and patina throughout. A rather lovely example of a small Victorian mahogany chest.

Height – 90cm / Width – 89cm / Depth – 47cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top and drawer fronts (pictured). There are some minor chips to the veneer near the base and a repair to the backplates of the knobs. The Victorian mahogany chest remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers running well. A good solid example with attractive colour and patina throughout. Particularly pleasing.
