Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers

A neatly proportioned Georgian oak chest of drawers. The oak chest of drawers has an arrangement of two short drawers over two long drawers, each with decorative brass teardrop handles. The Georgian oak chest is raised on bracket feet and has been finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. A rather charming example.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top (pictured), along with some splits to the top surface (pictured). There is evidence of old historic woodworm in places - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. There is an honest repair to one of the bracket feet and also to the middle drawer (pictured). The Georgian oak chest of drawers remains structurally intact. Overall, a charming example of an antique Georgian oak chest of drawers.
