George 111 Mahogany Cylinder Top Bureau Bookcase. The stepped cornice over a pair of square and oblong astragal glazed doors. The interior having three adjustable shelves with moulded fronts. The roll top below set in reeded surround and having cast brass knob handles. This opening to reveal eight satinwood fronted drawers with bone knob handles flanking four pigeon holes. A slide out writing surface below which has dummy drawers to the back also having a baize lined lift up reading slope with satinwood crossbanded frame with ebony outline stringing. A hinged ratchet below to hold and adjust the angle. Two short and two long mahogany lined drawers below with brass cast knob handles. All on splay feet with shaped apron.
