Description

A Pedestal Desk.

The good sized 19th century Oak Pedestal Desk, the top with a green leather, and gilt tooled writing surface, within a broad cross banded surround, finished with a rounded and stepped moulding.

The frieze set with a long centre drawer, flanked by a pair of shorter drawers, above the two pedestals, each holding three graduated drawers to one side, and cupboards to the opposite side.

The drawers with a returning mould edge, and pairs of brass knob handles.

The whole raised up on mould topped plinths.

Height 29 1/2 inches, 75cm.

Width 48 inches, 122cm.

Depth 32 inches, 81cm.
