Description

An extremely good quality French Napoleon III bronze gilt mantel clock in the Louis XIV style with musical instruments, soldiers helmet and shield with entwined flowers adorned by two doves with flaming torch stood on floral feet. The clock has a delicately hand painted floral porcelain panel and a white enamel dial with Roman numerals. The movement is a French eight day which strikes the hours and half hour on a bell with outside count wheel.
