A Stunning Heart Shaped Silver & Mother-of-pearl Trinket Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb silver trinket box in the shape of a heart, dating from the end of elegant Edwardian era. The body of this lovely piece stands on three legs, with paw feet. The lid is hinged and is embellished with mother-of-pearl set ivy leaves. Once opened the original pleated satin lined interior is revealed. A wonderful and most unusual piece, both decorative and usable.
